  • 1.  PADI Ice Diver at Dive Alaska

    Hi Everyone,

    I just joined this SIG today, but I've been in Mensa for several years, and I've been diving since 1998.

    Dive Alaska is doing a PADI Ice Diver course as well as their advanced course this December 12-14.  I signed up for both, and they have several students for Ice Diver, but I'm the only one signed up for the advanced course, and they need at least one other person to have it.  Please let me know if anyone may want to join me so that we can make that course happen.

    Ann, I sent you a few e-mails as I read more about this SIG and I'm seeing that some of you are doing Cozumel from 12/3-12/10.  That sounds amazing, so if I could jump in this late in the planning, maybe I could try to stack my vacation and spend time in Cozumel, then fly up to Alaska from there.

    Thanks Catrina.  Right now, I'm working on all kinds of scheduling issues, so I don't think I will be able to do the entire trip, but I'm trying to organize everything so that I can at least fly down to Cozumel for the weekend days.  I'll have a more definite plan by the end of this month, and I'll look forward to being able to meet you all.
